The Practice
Venom creates immersive rave experiences in Wellington.
Founded by Malware and Dr. Dash, Venom grew from a shared passion with techno, rave culture and the energy of the dancefloor.
We’re here to throw good raves that are a little bit venomous.
Venom champions local DJs, artists and emerging talent, creating space for the people shaping Wellington’s electronic music scene.
The Reason
Venom is more than a name.
The venomous have long carried a certain power. Something feared, misunderstood or treated as dangerous can also be resilient, rebellious and strong.
Venom is alchemy: turning what was meant to poison into liberation. Taking the weight of the outside world and becoming fully immersed on the dancefloor.
Venom is reclamation: A space to be loud, strange, expressive and unapologetically yourself.
The Invitation
Venom is built by a collective.
DJs. VJs. Lighting artists. Sound techs. Photographers. Videographers. Designers. Producers. Promoters. The people behind the scenes who make the whole thing possible.
